Response to Reviewers’ Critiques

Submitting a revised manuscript with a well-crafted response to the reviewers’ comments is often challenging and is critical in persuading the editor and reviewers that the manuscript is suitable for publication in the particular journal. It is important to address all the comments by the reviewers and make the necessary changes in the revised manuscript. Authors should make sure to understand the comments carefully and address them with clarity and precision. Being polite in addressing each response is very important. If necessary, authors sometimes can add extra figures or tables in support of their responses. If there are any disagreements with the reviewers’ comments, the authors need to justify their position and cite relevant literature.

Below are resources that can help you write an effective response to the reviewers’ comments.
