The ONLY CHATGPT Writing Contest was organized on March 17th, 2023, at 10.00 PM in AB1/101 to showcase the effectiveness of ChatGPT prompts in enhancing writing skills and expressing complex ideas. The contest challenged participants to write a 1000-word essay on the given topic, “The Impact of Faculty Attitudes on Student Development at IITGN: Observations and Recommendations.” The aim was to encourage students to showcase their writing prowess and creativity.
The event began with the announcement of the topic and the rules of the contest. Participants were given a deadline of 1 hour to submit their essays. During this period, they could seek the help of ChatGPT prompts to enhance their writing skills and express their ideas effectively.
After the submission deadline, the essays were evaluated by a panel of judges based on the relevance to the topic, originality, coherence, and writing skills. Aiswarya Omar, a Btech Mechanical Engineering student, was declared the winner of the ONLY CHATGPT Writing Contest. Their essay on “The Impact of Faculty Attitudes on Student Development at IITGN: Observations and Recommendations” was brilliantly crafted with the help of ChatGPT prompts.
