Leadership Development Initiative

LDI has become one of the most recognisable groups in all of IITGN. The fervour and anticipation they’ve created among the student body is really commendable. It’s all thanks to their great team of coordinators and the project managers. I have participated in many of the events organized by LDI and plan to do so in the future as well. LDI has helped develop a platform for students ranging from all backgrounds in honing their skills towards leadership. I’d specially like to thank both the managers of LDI, Anupama and Sushmit for nurturing a healthy working relationship with the student body. I hope that they continue with the amazing job that they’ve been doing.

LDI is doing phenomenal work at IITGN to promote leadership by being a consistent and constant force, bringing about the change with some small and some big initiatives that no one would have ever experienced before! Their dedication and unique ideas have become an example of how leaders should think and work towards achieving a vision that has a positive impact on our community!

I am thrilled to express my utmost gratitude and appreciation for the remarkable Leadership Development Initiative (LDI) program. Participating in this transformative journey has truly been a turning point in my professional growth. The program’s comprehensive curriculum, expert facilitators, and immersive learning experiences have equipped me with invaluable skills and insights.

I had the privilege of taking part in various leadership activities organized by LDI at IIT Gandhinagar, and they were exceptional. LDI’s focus on developing leadership qualities in students was evident in their well-organized events that encouraged interaction and helped overcome fears. I wholeheartedly recommend LDI to anyone who aspires to develop their leadership qualities.

LDI (leadership development initiative), IIT GN is a unique initiative that harbors active collaborative and network building environments. I’ve had immense pleasure to be part of events organized by LDI, especially the outhouse event. The outhouse was one of its kind where a group of students lived together in a lavish 5bhk flat with all amenities and no rent! LDI has always come up with unique activities and events, leaving an enticing experience to remember….

When you are busy with your day to day work schedule and want a break, events of LDI are indeed a respite. It enhances not only one’s leadership qualities, but also social and communication skills, knowledge bases, decision making capabilities and much more – thereby maintaining one’s mental sanity😎.

From thrilling stranger games to the adrenaline-pumping Cash or Crash events, their inclusive community, well-executed activities, and dedicated LDI members have created unforgettable experiences. I will never forget the moments I captured during the “Dynamic Duo” event with my guide. One of the standout features of LDI is its variety of activities.

I have been a part of a couple of initiatives taken up by team LDI on-campus. The scope of ideas they come up with is very commendable. For instance, I was introduced to the art of visual thinking in a fun and engaging way in the Visual Thinking Workshop. I have realized its impact and have started actively using it in discussions with my team members ever since. I felt the boldness to start a conversation about critical social opinions in the community through the #proWOKEd initiative. Overall I had a great time learning and experiencing much more than I already knew. Keep up the great spirit, team LDI! I hope that the IITGN community continues to actively enrich itself with these initiatives 🙂

LDI initiatives demonstrated a commitment to nurturing leadership skills and fostering personal and professional growth among students. Kudos for the outstanding programs that equip participants with confidence and persuasive communication skills. Also, thank you for brightening my college experience.

LDI is leading in developing leadership skills but by using first principles. Instead of giving a manual of dos and donts, LDI lets us practice what a leader should be, like making us communicate effectively, driving us to handle situations in real world, challenging us to manage better and much more. We learn the most from observing others and that is exactly how LDI is spreading leadership, by being a leader themselves in this new, exciting and hands on approach. Kudos to the team on the phenomenal work!

These guys know how to shake things up and make it fun! The first event I attended was the Visual Thinking Workshop. It showed me a whole new way to look at things. It’s like they unleashed my inner doodling genius! Every single event organized by LDI is designed to get everyone involved and engaged. It’s thought-provoking in the best possible way. I’m actually jealous of all the upcoming events I’ll be missing out on!
