Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP)
Empowering Educators for Holistic Leadership
Leadership Development Initiative (LDI) at IIT Gandhinagar proudly presents a transformative 5-day residential training program, Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP), as part of the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP). This initiative is dedicated to fostering leadership skills among educators in centrally funded institutions, equipping them to navigate the multifaceted challenges of academia.
NFLP is designed to cultivate leadership at every stage of a faculty member’s career, with a special focus on early-career educators. By addressing the distinct challenges faculty face in engaging with students, peers, administration, and society, the program aims to build a robust pool of future academic leaders, ready to take on generational transitions in higher education.
Participants will engage in an immersive learning experience featuring role-playing, case studies, debates, panel discussions, and outdoor activities, all tailored to sharpen strategic and perceptive thinking skills.
Key Highlights:
- Fully funded by the Ministry of Education (GoI): Program costs, including boarding and lodging, are covered. Travel expenses are to be borne by the participants’ institutions.
